The 1st and eldest child in the family. Apathetic and lazy, Shuu is someone who loves nothing but music. He's now somewhat bored with life due to all that happened in his past. Despite Shuu is the eldest son he doesn't take any responsiblity to look after his five brothers and the house at all, he mostly pushes this job all to Reiji. Since he was the eldest son, despite having all the attentions, he was always alone until he met Edgar, a human in a nearby village, who soon became his best and only friend. When Edgar died, due the big fire in the village, Shuu felt it like he was unable to save him and blamed himself. He's still unaware that the fire was set up by his brother Reiji out of jealousy. Because of his past experience, Shuu tends to push Yui away a lot, at first, as he says that humans die too easily. He's voiced by Toriumi Kousuke in the Drama CD.
