Ichijou Tenno

The Emperor/Empress of Japan ("Tenno" means "Emperor" or "Empress" in Japanese).

In the series, the gender of Tenno is unrevealed and remain a question.

Because of Tenno's superior personality, he/she can't get closed to Teishi despite that they have already got married. Tenno hates Shounagon for she possess Teishi.
